Flooding in Brisbane

I was not planning on updating my blog so soon after my last post, but things have been rapidly changing in Brisbane over the last 24hrs. I have evacuated my house and moved to higher ground thanks to the hospitality of my sister and her family.

Below is a photo taken this afternoon from the Casino Towers Apartment building with a view of Southbank ... notice the lack of the walkway and the fact that the CityCat stops are also under water!
